Stokely Carmichael - As a member of the Black Panther Party and a major leader of the Black Power Movement, this civil rights icon (later known as Kwame Ture) fought for voting rights and the overall liberation of black people in America. After being targeted by the FBI, he moved to Africa where he began to campaign internationally for Pan-Africanism. The "66" represents the year in which The Black Panther Party was founded.
